Conservation

We have particular expertise in Building Conservation and restoration and are very familiar with historical building methods and materials. Our experience includes work for The National Trust for Scotland, The Landmark Trust, local authorities, ecclesiastical clients and private individuals.

Andrew Easton, Partner in our Practice, holds the highest level of RIAS Accreditation in Building Conservation, as does our Consultant, Gordon Hodge.

This accreditation is at Advanced level, defined as "work with a high content of specialist conservation which requires a great amount of detailed specification and inspection work by the Professional Conservator in Charge". Gordon Hodge is also registered as an RIBA Architect Accredited in Building Conservation (AABC).
